Meet Katie McKriem
Katie started writing in Elementary School! She wrote a story about mermaids with her cousin, a dystopian story inspired by Margaret Peterson Haddix’s novel Among the Hidden, and various other short stories. Katie was always devouring entire books in one day and remembers waiting in line at the mall at midnight for the release of The Half-Blood Prince. In addition to fantasy and dystopian fiction novels, Katie has adored romance stories from a young age. Once she discovered M/M romances, they have been hard to put down!
Now in her 30s, Katie hopes to turn her love of reading and writing into a career as an author. She lives in the Midwest with her husband and two doggies and loves coffee, collecting coffee mugs, cheese, books, and fuzzy blankets. Katie plans to write contemporary, sweet M/M romance novels.
